Nouvelle-Angleterre is a country home located directly on the shores of Lake Pohénégamook. With its private beach and dock, it offers a peaceful and exclusive setting. Its contemporary interior, bathed in light thanks to generous windows, can accommodate up to 11 guests and offers spectacular lake views.
The chalet is fully equipped to meet your every need. Just bring your own clothes and food. Designed with families in mind, it includes a playpen, high chair, baby bath and crib, booster seat and stroller.
On the first floor, you'll find a master bedroom with queen-size bed and private bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub and large glass shower, a powder room near the entrance, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker, a dining room for eight, a breakfast nook for four, and a living room with wood-burning fireplace, smart TV, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker.
Upstairs, two bedrooms with queen-size beds, a bathroom with tub/shower and a reading area with loveseat are at your disposal.
The basement includes a family room with queen-size bed, single bed and bunk, a queen-size pull-out bed, powder room, washer and dryer. A games room with billiards, ping-pong and foosball completes the space.
Outside, enjoy a private spa, a beach and dock, two kayaks for adults and one for children (life jackets not included), a 10,000-square-foot lot, an outdoor fire pit (wood not included), a large patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ, as well as swings, a play module and a children's picnic table.
In autumn, winter and spring, an impressive deer stand surrounds the property, offering a unique experience.
Nearby, a multitude of activities await you. The municipal beach offers inflatable water games, swimming, volleyball, paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, children's play modules and snack bars. You can also enjoy golf, biking, scenic lookouts, lake and farm fishing, a marina, a microbrewery, a heritage orchard, snowmobile and ATV trails, a bowling alley and the famous Ponik Monster.
After a busy day, relax around the fireplace or enjoy a bottle of wine offered by the owners.
Reservations are possible from 28 years of age. Minimum stays are three nights for holiday periods and long weekends, and seven nights in summer, with possible variations depending on availability. Dogs under 25 pounds are accepted at an additional charge of $50 plus tax. No arrivals on December 25 or January 1.
