Dogs are allowed, but ideally only one at a time. An additional fee of $100 + tax is charged for each dog. Guests must accept the rules concerning dogs. We reserve the right to refuse an excessive number of dogs or their presence in high season. ? Cottage Rules - For a Pleasant and Harmonious Stay 1) ? Guest Capacity The maximum occupancy must be respected to ensure everyone's comfort. Any additional guests must be pre-approved by the host. A small fee of $35 + tax/night/person applies. Please also inform us of any daytime visitors. 2) ? Smoke-Free Environment To maintain a healthy atmosphere, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottage or near any openings (balconies, windows, doors). Please use the parking area and the provided ashtrays. 3) ? Noise and Neighbors Please respect our neighbors and the peace of the area. Outdoor noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM and moderated during the day. 4) ?? Care and Respect of the Premises We ask that you do not damage the furniture or decor. ?? Any broken, damaged, or lost items must be reported promptly and will be replaced or reimbursed as needed. The traveler agrees to replace or reimburse for any such items (including furniture; minor repairs will be prioritized if applicable). 5) ? Traveler Responsibility The person who made the reservation is responsible for the proper use of the cottage and the enforcement of these rules throughout the stay. 6) ? Hot Tub (Spa) Usage The hot tub is available for your relaxation! ? Regular maintenance is performed, but if an unscheduled water change is required after your stay due to misuse, a $350 fee may apply. 7) ?? Water Temperature on Arrival We do our best to ensure the hot tub is at the ideal temperature for your arrival. However, a recent water change may cause a heating delay. No refunds will be granted in these cases. 8) ? Assistance and Communication If you encounter any issues upon arrival or during your stay, please contact us promptly, given us a reasonable timeframe so we can resolve them. We are available from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. In case of emergency, dial 911. (No refund will be given if you refuse the provided help). ? Firearm Prohibition Possession of firearms is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the cottage. 10) ?? Waste Management Please take out the trash, compost, and recycling before your departure and place them in the area designated by the host. 11) ? Cancellation Policy (COVID-19 & Illness) No refunds will be granted for positive COVID-19 tests, or any other illness or death of a relative. 12) ?? Food Storage Some refrigerators take time to cool food that was at room temperature. We recommend using a cooler with ice packs to preserve your food during transport. 13) ? Pet Policy Please follow the pet rules previously sent and please pick up after them. Failure to comply may result in additional charges. 14) ? Lost and Found Please ensure you have all your belongings before leaving. Any forgotten items will be returned to the traveler at their expense, plus a management fee. 15) ? Nature and Insects As the cottage is located in the heart of nature, small animals or insects may enter if doors are left open. In warmer weather, biting insects may be present outdoors. In colder weather, small rodents may occasionally seek shelter in residences (exterminator treatments are applied regularly). The host cannot be held responsible for these natural occurrences. 16) ?? Non-Compliance By booking, you agree to follow these house rules. Failure to do so may result in additional fees depending on the violation. 17) ? Power Outages Thank you for your understanding. In Quebec, power outages occasionally occur. While unpredictable and beyond our control, please note that 90% of outages last less than 5 hours and are resolved quickly.? If the outage lasts less than 5 hours, no refund will be granted.? If an outage of less than 10 hours occurs partially during the night (after 11:00 PM), no refund will be applied.? For longer outages, a refund of 30% of the nightly rate may be offered per Airbnb conditions.? During an outage: The water pump will not function temporarily. If the cottage has a generator, its use is at the owner's discretion based on the scale of the outage. If the generator is running, the traveler must add fuel as needed to keep it operational.?
