WELCOME MESSAGE
We are delighted to welcome you to Chalets Rochon and hope your stay meets your expectations. To ensure a smooth experience, please take a moment to review the following guidelines regarding your stay.
CHALET RULES
Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you require a late check-out, please contact your host in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request if possible.
Secure Access
Upon arrival, you will receive a 4-digit access code. This code will unlock your chalet door as well as grant access to the pool (same code + #). This is a temporary code valid only during your stay. Please make a note of it and share it with your guests. If you forget it or have any issues, don’t hesitate to contact your host.
Garage Use
The garages attached to the chalets are reserved for storing equipment belonging to Chalets Rochon. Parking vehicles in them is strictly prohibited.
Request for Additional Equipment
We want your stay to be as pleasant as possible. If you need additional equipment (chairs, tables, playpens, water gear), please let us know before your arrival. We’ll be happy to assist. Please note that weekend requests may incur additional fees, so we recommend planning your needs ahead of time.
Hosting Guests During Your Stay
Guests may be welcomed during your stay; however, all facilities are reserved exclusively for registered guests of the complex. Visitors are not permitted to access the complex or the play areas reserved for registered guests.
No Smoking Policy
Our chalets are smoke-free. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the chalets, including in the spas. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on the Chalets Rochon site under any circumstances, including in the chalets, on private grounds, or in the complex’s shared areas.
If you are traveling with a certified service dog (as per legal regulations), you must inform us at the time of booking. This allows us to assign a suitable chalet before your arrival, in line with our facilities and rules.
Any breach of this policy may result in extra cleaning fees or early termination of the stay, as outlined in the rental agreement.
Condition of Premises & Equipment Damage
Cleanliness is very important to us, and you’ll notice it as soon as you arrive. While we understand you may be celebrating, decorations (banners, posters, etc. ) may not be hung on the walls—windows are permitted.
Please leave the chalet clean at departure: wash and put away dishes, take out the trash. Use the departure checklist to make sure nothing is forgotten. Note that if personal belongings are left behind, return shipping will be at your expense plus a $25 handling fee.
We provide modern equipment; in case of damage or theft, repair or replacement costs will be charged.
Linens and Towels
One towel per guest is provided for showers and baths. These must not be used outdoors—please bring your own beach towels. Each chalet includes laundry facilities with detergent to wash towels if needed. A $25 fee will apply for stained towels. Washcloths are not provided.
Blankets and bedding are provided. They must not be used outdoors. Stains or burns will incur fees of $40 per blanket and $100 per comforter.
Chalet Spa
Spas are checked daily except on weekends. Please replace the cover after each use. Smoking in the spa is strictly prohibited. Children under 4 are not permitted in the spa due to dehydration and overheating risks. Swimwear is mandatory. T-shirts, shorts, or other non-swimming garments are not allowed.
Outdoor Fires and Parties
Please get your host’s permission before lighting an outdoor fire. Fires are often prohibited during dry periods. Out of respect for neighbors, please reduce noise after 11:00 PM and lower music volume. Non-compliance may result in fines.
Departure Assistance
Please refer to the departure checklist provided to facilitate check-out. Be sure to return all used items to their original places. An inventory will be conducted upon departure. Any missing items will be billed based on our price list.
All life jackets must be returned to their proper place. If any are wet, place them on the railings or outdoor chairs. Lost jackets will incur a $60 fee each.
At check-out, please take out the trash to the exterior bins near the street, wash the dishes, and start the dishwasher if needed. If the fridge or freezer is messy, we would appreciate it if you could wipe it down to ease the cleaning team’s work.
