The road is pleasant and far from traffic. Once in the village, you'll find a grocery store with SAQ, a gas station, restaurants, a beach, trails and friendly locals. After a few kilometers on the year-round Chemin de la Batiscan, you'll find a charming cottage surrounded by greenery or snow, depending on the season. Outdoors you can enjoy the Batiscan, a calm, shallow body of water for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding and why not a little fishing for fun. This section, accessible only to the few cottages there, provides privacy and security. A little further up the grounds, still near the water a fire pit will let you roast a few marshmallows! Boats and jackets are provided, as is camping wood and a few play and swimming accessories. On the lower terrace you can enjoy a hot tub, hanging hammock chairs, and the sectional chair so everyone can be together busying themselves with different activities. At the hot tub exit, a radiant heater is installed for added comfort. On the upper terrace, surrounded by screens on rails, you'll find a propane fireplace surrounded by a sectional. Perfect for relaxing after dinner and when the weather is less conducive to wood fires. You'll also find a mosquito-proof dining set and a small fridge. This terrace is a sure favorite!. Grill lover? There's also a quality Weber BBQ available for you! Once inside, you'll find a well-equipped, modern kitchen with everything you'll need overlooking the dining room, living room and terrace with water views. On this level, the floors are heated for colder days and you have air conditioning for warmer daysOn the mezzanine level, a spacious bedroom with queen bed and a telecommuting area overlooking the river await you.
