Located in Ville-Marie, Témiscamingue, the company specializes in the production of fine chocolates and pastries. Its main economic driver is chocolate processing. Partly due to sales from the boutique, but also from numerous stockists and the wide distribution of its products in supermarkets (chocolate bars, porto and dessert cups).

Les Chocolats Martine is also a retailer. Its boutique, renowned for its range of products and personalized service, is a magnet for customers. You can buy a range of coffees, cheeses from Quebec and elsewhere, specialty groceries and many gift ideas. Regional products have pride of place. Every event of the year is celebrated with chocolate products.

THE SUITES
In 2018, a third floor overlooking the lake was added to the building. Les Suites de la Chocolaterie was born from these major renovations to offer superb suites for rental.

THE OWNER
Originally from Témiscamingue, Line Descoteaux has been in business for 20 years. She is committed to the development of the region, and her passion for regional products is well known. Head of Les Chocolats Martine, she is also co-founder of the Chez Eugène inn-restaurant and the Foire Gourmande de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue et du Nord-Est Ontarien. In January 2017, she took over the presidency of the Foire Gourmande on a volunteer basis. Ms. Descoteaux hopes that one day Abitibi-Témiscamingue will have its own "route des saveurs" and that her region will become a benchmark for local products.
