A member of Quebec's park network and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Parc national de Miguasha preserves a fossiliferous cliff known the world over.

This reputation culminated in the unveiling of the world's first complete specimen of Elpistostege watsoni. Remarkably preserved, Miguasha's fish fossils have helped us understand the transition from aquatic to terrestrial life in vertebrates.
