Set in a forest with magnificent vistas and interpretive panels on the history and culture of the Algonquin people, the Rocher-à-l'Oiseau trail is sure to be one of the best hikes on your list. To get there, you'll need an all-terrain vehicle or 4 x 4, if possible. The 9 km round trip will take you 3 to 4 hours. Don't forget to bring snacks and a bottle of water! Hiking boots are a must for this expedition. Slippery and perilous passages in places. Not recommended for young children.
