Pushing open the door of the gallery also means being welcomed by Hélène, the owner. A gallery owner and filmmaker, Hélène is also the wife of André Desjardins. For over twenty years now, she has put her heart and soul into the development of her lover's artistic career. Whenever the opportunity arises, she sneaks into André's studio with her camera and silently observes. She made three intimate films in the studio. First, two short films, "Émotionnisme" and "Devenir", and a feature film, "LIBRE". She also signs all the video capsules André posts on his social networks. Hélène knows the story behind every work exhibited in the gallery, and she shares it with visitors.
