Located just off the L'Estriade bike path, the small museum is housed inside one of our heritage gems, a caboose. The exhibition recounts the evolution of Waterloo's railway network and its builder, Mr. Asa Belknap Foster. The man nicknamed ''The King of Canadian Railways'' will tell you his story and that of Waterloo through a variety of explanatory panels, as well as a comic-book-style illustrated section to enhance the children's visit. The museum also features a scale model of the town as it was when the railroad was built.
