In October 2009, Fromagerie Mirabel was acquired by La Fromagerie St-Albert, a Franco-Ontarian cooperative proudly defending the French language and owned by some forty dairy producers from Eastern Ontario. St-Albert is located fifty kilometers east of Ottawa.
