From 1912, Benedictine monks from France built a monastery overlooking Lake Memphremagog. The abbey's architecture is based on the harmony of natural geometric forms, with a refined use of polychrome brick and granite. Tours are offered at 1 pm and 3 pm: discovery of the history of the site, with special anecdotes, access to the superb viewpoint from the church terrace and an exclusive video on the life of the monks with their testimonies. A wide variety of products made at the abbey, including cheeses, ciders and apple products, are available year-round at the boutique. Other services are also available: pick-your-own, a rejuvenating stay and an audioguide, whenever possible.
